Shazia Mirza is an award-winning British stand-up comedian and writer from Birmingham.

After her nationwide tour last year, Shazia is back by popular demand and bringing her show ‘Coconut’ to The WOW Barn. Nominated for a Channel 4 National Comedy Award, “Shazia takes on the burning (and infectious) issues of our time in this searing and urgent exploration of life, love and Jihadi brides” (spokesperson).

Her previous show ‘The Kardashians Made Me Do It’ was a sell out success all over the UK, US, Sweden, Ireland, and Paris, and completed 3 sell out runs at London’s Soho Theatre. She has toured all over the world and appeared on Comedy Central, Last Comic Standing, and The Craig Ferguson Show.

More recent appearances include The Jonathan Ross Show, Would I Lie to You? QI, Meet The Richardsons, Celebrity MasterMind, The Late Late Show, Top Gear, Graham Norton Show, and she was the star of Celebrity The Island with Bear Grylls.
